Riverside Arts is a collective of artists and crafts people who work in the Cambridgeshire fens and exhibit together in July as part of Cambridge Open Studios. Our group contains a variety of artists, working in several disciplines. Please click on a name in the menu to find out more about them.

Cambridge Open Studios 2020 is now cancelled. We will be opening our doors in Little Ouse, Cambridgeshire in July 2021.

As we can’t open our doors to visitors this year a group of Riverside Arts artists are taking part in OpenWindows2020.  Art will be on display every weekend in July at 32 Woodfen Road, Littleport, CB6 1JP, the home and studio address of Jane Frost. The aim is to allow the public access to art and provide some encouragement in spite of restrictions due to Covid19. To quote Kate Green, who initiated the idea for Cambridge Open Studios, “It is a bit of a treasure hunt where people find the artists in their neighbourhood and a way to introduce ourselves to our local area. This is about us trying to do a nice thing for those around us rather than us expecting it to bring in any money. It is very much about cheering people up while they walk past our houses. Although this year’s event will be a very different experience, the artists are hoping people will still engage with the artworks on offer.”

There are about 130 artists taking part across Cambridgeshire. The COS guide will not be published this year, more publicity about the event is on social media. Look out for #OpenWindows2020 and #COSart2020 on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
